Finishing the Task (FTT) Initiative
In the fall of 2004, several leading ministries felt led of the Holy Spirit to come together with a vision consistent with Christ’s command to love one another and to lay down our lives (ministry agendas) for the sake of our brethren and the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom under a unified strategy called “Finishing the Task”.
As a principal partner of the Finishing the Task initiative, Progressive Vision has a goal to see church planting movements initiated in the remaining 639 Unengaged, Unreached People Groups (UUPG’s) in the world with a population of 100,000 or more. These are people groups with no known indigenous reproducing Church. We believe that this vision will be carried out by local churches each embracing one or more of these UUPG’s. |
